The Hunger Games Review

The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins

Description

Katniss is a 16-year-old girl living with her mother and younger sister in the poorest district of Panem, the remains of what used be the United States. Long ago the districts waged war on the Capitol and were defeated. As part of the surrender terms, each district agreed to send one boy and one girl to appear in an annual televised event called, "The Hunger Games." The terrain, rules, and level of audience participation may change but one thing is constant: kill or be killed. When Kat's sister is chosen by lottery, Kat steps up to go in her place.

This is the first book of the three. So many peolple were telling me its must read.

When I started to read this book , I thought at first it was abit slow and boring . Took me long time to get into it but when it got to Katniss going into the games due to taking her sister place It started to get intresting even the love story between her and Peete. For me the best was when they were in the actuall games when she had to surive and people were getting killed. I could not put the book down because i needed to know if she survired and what happened to Peete. Its very dark in places but once you get into the book its very good. Its easy read is from Katness point of view be good if you had Peete and Haymitch view because its very one sided . I think that would give the reader differ perspective  and keeped them hooked abit more in the begaining.

I give this book 7 out of 10

If anyone agrees with this or disagrees would love to hear your view
