Character Bedroom

Large bedroom with lilac coloured walls and cream floor with patch of red wine stains on the carpet near the balcony window.  The balcony overlooks the Thames with tourist boats passing by. There are about five plant pots on the floor with dead pansies in them. King-size bed in the middle of the room. Bed sheets cream with purple pillow cases. The bed sheets are ruffled with the bed unmade. Curtains cream colour with purple tie backs; they are left half closed. Clothes are thrown all over the bed and floor. On top of the messy bed lies a black cat with a pure white left paw, fast asleep. Wet red towel hanging on the bedroom door. Pink lilies are stood on the side of the pine drawers next to the bed and on the on other side of the drawers is an empty glass containing a white gold ring with diamonds sat in it.  A pine dresser facing the bed on the other side of the bedroom has make up spread all over it and straighteners on the desk.  Post-it notes are stuck all over the dressing table mirror.   Wide screen TV on the wall which has been left on is on the art channel.   On the chest of drawers next to the flowers a glass of wine, half full with lipstick marks on the side, sits next to photo, face down. Cadbury’s chocolate wrappers are strewn on the floor and an ashtray has spilt over on to the carpet, with cigarette ends scattered all over. The pine cupboards are wide open with about four little suitcases balancing on the shelf next to ten pairs of shoes.  A white alarm radio is going off, flashing eight clock. Above the bed is a famous picture by Claude Monet, poppies growing in the grass with people standing amongst them.

Again this piece is quite similar to the crime room. We had to think of character and descibe what there room was like. I really enjoyed doing this piece .
