Crime Scene

The room is quite large; it is a luxury apartment on the top floor.  The apartment has two double doors leading out to the balcony, overlooking a sandy beach, where the tide looks like it’s coming in. People are doing their morning jog or walking their dogs and in the distance you can see someone surfing.                             

The main room connects to the oak kitchen and the bedroom round the corner with an en-suite bathroom. The lounge is a magnolia colour which is very calming to the eyes until you get to two big bright paintings that have splodges of paint all over them which is hard on the eyes. The floor is wooden with splashes of blood and around the center of the floor is big a puddle and a path of blood leading to the balcony with a large, bloody hand print on the double doors.
 CDS scattered on the floor: one stands out particularly which has a blue cover on it and has written on it: family but the CD has gone; there is something written in the cover inside but it just a sequence of numbers written in gold pen on the top left corner.The ashtray that sits on the table next to the sofa has two cigarette butts, one has been half smoked and still has smoke coming from it, as if someone was in a rush to put it out but did not do it properly. The other cigarette has a lipstick mark around it and has been smoked to the end. There is big flat screen hanging on the wall but has big crack across the screen. The settee has been pulled to pieces, as if someone was looking for something so has the kitchen; boxes of cereal and tins all over the kitchen and lounge floor. Cupboard doors and drawers are flung open. The whole apartment looks like it's been ransacked.

This piece of work we did in class. We were given excise to do which wasto think of a room we had left and image it was crime scene and you were policeman given description to your fellow
 colleagues.
